An Open Letter To All Aligs In Saudi Arabia
 

Dear All,
 

As Salaam Alaikum,

First of all I want to assure everyone that this letter of mine is neither to hurt the sentiments of anyone nor to criticize but it's just an experience of mine which I felt several times during my stay here. If this letter is going to hurt anyone then I m sorry for that but I think the time has come to raise this issue through this platform. The Common Aligs in Saudi Arabia are in a very sorry state of affairs, the whole Aligarian community is divided into different factions which are not doing any good to the Alig community at all. It seems that we have forgotten the whole mission of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, who devoted his life to unite the Muslims , to enlighten the brain of each and every Muslim with the light of Knowledge .But unfortunately that light is missing, after witnessing the so called factionalism among the Aligs sometimes I feel that either to dissociate myself from this community or do something in order to unite them ,so I have chosen the later option coz if I would have chosen the first option I would have been like many others who sit in their homes and criticize all the factions but never try to do anything constructive in order to bring an end to this whole issue once and for all.

I would like to invite all those who really want to do something constructive in order to bring unity among all the factions of Aligs , to come forward and put their efforts together coz UNITED WE STAND AND DIVIDED WE FALL. Let me tell that there are very few those who are supporting this factionalism but most of the Aligs hate it, but these few are dictating their terms today coz we are not united we are not protesting against their this attitude we are just giving them a chance to march ahead with their venomous attitude .If we are not ready to come forward to raise our concern on this very issue then we don't have any right to say a single word against it also. Today in whole world Aligs have got their own identity but unfortunately in this part of the world we are famous for factionalism, Sir Syed Dinner which used to be a platform for all Aligs has unfortunately become a ramp of power and prestige. Unfortunately Sir Syed Dinner is not hosted today to Celebrate the birth anniversary of great Sir Syed Ahmad Khan but it is hosted just to show that who is more Powerful, which group has got more backing and who can pump in more Celebrities. The whole mission of this function has been brutally murdered by the ego and prestige of some. These so called leaders of aligs have hijacked the whole system and running the associations as per their own wish, they are creating these factions just to get their benefits, and they don't have any thing for the common Aligs.

But who is to blame for all this, off course we and only we have to take all the blame coz we are the one who are giving them a chance to act like Monarchs. Time has come to stand against this so called factionalism and reject all those leaders who are using us for their own benefits. And this is only possible when we all will decide that there is only going to be one function, One Sir Syed Dinner every year. So come forward and pledge to unite under one umbrella and that is the umbrella of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan.I am sorry once again if the interests of few people have been hurt through this letter but please give it a sincere thought and try to bring some respect to our great Institution and our self.
